How do I start Secret Sunrise?

Everyone who starts the journey to Joy with Secret Sunrise starts in the same place:

Step 1: Joy Foundations - an introductory course to soak in the essence of Secret Sunrise. Everyone does this step! 
Step 2: Unleash Yourself Facilitator training - for everyone who wishes to Facilitate sessions and bring Secret Sunrise to my area. 
Step 3: Sign a Joy Agreement with Secret Sunrise, pay your annual subscription (currently $230) and you are good to run sessions in your area!**

** please note if you are currently based in any of the following areas you will have to contact the Secret Sunrise collective and work with them and their rules in order to offer Sessions: 
South Africa: Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KZN, Gauteng, Lowveld
Globally: Amsterdam, Windhoek, Zanzibar, Bali, Singapore, London

You can sign up for additional boost training and additional services to support you on your Secret Sunrise Journey to Joy.

Our teachers offer a mix of in person and online trainings. If you see a trainer in your region get in touch with them for one on one training.

How long is the training?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the training. Joy Foundations is a maximum of 3 hours online. Unleash Yourself  really depends on the teacher. Some teachers offer weekend intensives, others offer nightly sessions for a week. Each training will detail the dates and hours required.

Question 9

I have extensive facilitation experience with other modalities - do I still have to do the Unleash Yourself Facilitator Training?

Yes :) Our training is geared specifically to the Secret Sunrise offering and what makes Secret Sunrise the movement that it is. Facilitators are trained in the Secret Sunrise Joy Magic, and the relevant  values and ethics that go into a session. Only accredited Secret Sunrise Facilitators can offer Secret Sunrise sessions.

I want to do the training but I want to know how much facilitators get paid?

It depends where you are. If you are an area where there is an existing Secret Sunrise operative you can ask them more about payment for facilitation.

If you are in an area where there is no Secret Sunrise you would be hosting and running events yourself so it’s completely up to you!

Do I pay Secret Sunrise royalties on my events?

No. You only need to pay your annual subscription, sign your Joy Agreement and pay for any services/ trainings you sign up for.

I would like to be a Secret Sunrise facilitator in an area where there is already a Secret Sunrise presence (South Africa: Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KZN, Gauteng, Lowveld Globally: Amsterdam, Windhoek, Zanzibar, Bali, Singapore, London) How do I become a facilitator?

Your steps are the same as any new person starting their Journey to Joy with Secret Sunrise, how you operate as a facilitator within your region - that is what is different:

Step 1: Joy Foundations - an introductory course to soak in the Goodness of Secret Sunrise. Everyone does this step!

Step 2: Unleash Yourself Facilitator training - for everyone who wishes to Facilitate sessions and bring Secret Sunrise to my area.

Step 3: Sign a Joy Agreement with Secret Sunrise, pay your annual subscription (currently $70) and connect with your local collective to run sessions in your area.
